Hi, I'm Willson
I'm a seasoned engineer with a proven ability to impact projects, provide technical prowess, and work efficiently with communicative engineering. I'm experienced building developer productivity solutions that you may or may not know your org desperately needs. In the free hours or learning hours of work, I love to tinker with JavaScript tools and frameworks (like React, Next.js, Jotai, Node.js, etc.) since I'm not so much day-to-day using it in my current role. It's fascinating how breakneck fast and creative the JavaScript ecosystem innovates. I believe GOOD engineering starts from good, happy people. I believe energy, team camaraderie, and chemistry are the most effective, reliable, and sustainable ingredients to do good work.
TL;DR
I live in San Diego, California. I'm lucky to call it home and share it with the Missus. If you clicked my GitHub link above and wondered why there's little to no activity, I also wonder. But I wonder more about how anybody has to the time or energy outside of work to contribute to GitHub (besides college kids or people looking for their first job). So why even link it? Well, I'm sure you're here to see what I've done. In all honestly though, it's not something I can and want to devote time to.
In my spare time, I like to remodel, rework, and improve outdated things around the house. It's San Diego, so I love being outside and being active (basketball, running, cycling). NBA and college basketball is life. Music is life. The things that I love, but get neglected and fall to the back of my spare time queue are taking in a book on my Kindle and trying to keep up with the video gaming world.
